As with our designer cowhide products, these beautiful natural-colored goatskins make for exquisite accent rugs and furniture coverings. As with our designer cowhides, each one of these designer goatskins will easily add a sense of elegance to any setting. No two designs or colors will look exactly the same since each one is custom made. As a result, we can make any size or color in generally 4-6 weeks. All of our designer goatskin throws come from Peru, unquestionably the source of the finest quality goatskin throws in the world. The many different colors that you see are all natural and will be arranged in a random order.
The leather of each goatskin throw is very supple and soft, unlike so many other products on the market today that can actually be quite stiff. In addition, our manufacturers do not use any of the tanning solutions that can produce the unpleasant smell that many other goatskin products, unfortunately, commonly have.
Each goatskin throw is made up of a collage of different colored squares, with each square being 4”, 8", 12" or 16” in dimension. Since no two skins look the same, every rug we make will be unique as two will never look identical. The goatskin throw in this picture is made up of 16". The seams are actually “invisible” in that the sewing can only be seen from the bottom side. Most will cost $23.50 per square foot with shipping being whatever UPS charges. Rarely will you find one in a retail store for less than $35 per square foot with prices of $40 common.
Concerning product care, our goatskins are very easily cared for. Simple soap and water on a sponge will handle most problems. One simply needs to be careful not to soak the skin. Vacuuming is also "OK".
