You are certainly in for a treat, especially if you have never seen or felt a mink blanket before. As mink blankets and bedspreads go, ours are some of the softest, prettiest and most luxurious in the world! You simply will not believe how plush and beautiful they are!
Unfortunately, words and pictures will never reveal this. You simply must touch and “experience” one of these mink blankets for yourself to fully appreciate what we are saying. Each mink blanket truly defies description! The incredibly soft, plush acrylic fibers, the rich, vibrant colors, the beautiful designs, the luster and the sheen of the material...all in the same blanket help to make our mink blankets truly unforgettable.
What are Mink Blankets?
Mink blankets are not what their name implies. They have nothing to do with real mink fur or any other fur. Instead, every mink blanket is made out of some sort of synthetic material, primarily acrylic.
The Koreans and Chinese started the whole trend of soft acrylic blankets and even came up with the term, "mink blanket". Even though the material is a synthetic acrylic, and not actually real "mink", they called them mink blankets to conjure up the image of something very, very soft. And that they are! A good quality mink blanket is incredibly plush and luxurious!
No Other Mink Blanket Company has as many Beautiful Unique Designs!
There are other quality mink blanket companies around. However, most of these will only have a couple of unique designs with the majority of their mink blankets being made up of uninspiring flower designs and the same standard animal designs that most manufacturers seem to make. Our company, on the other hand, has over 75 designs with at least half of them only available from us. In addition, each premium grade mink blanket we carry will have rich, vibrant colors that are simply missing in most other blanket lines. Most other blankets simply lack the luster and vibrancy that most of our colors demonstrate.
In summary, although other mink blankets may be soft, no other blanket lines will compare with the overall softness, exquisite vibrant colors, and beautiful design work that our lines demonstrate! The vast majority of Korean or Chinese "mink" blankets cannot compare; Mexico's San Marcos or Novatex blankets cannot compare; not even the blankets from Ibena, Beiderlack or Fingerhut can compare overall to our blankets.

We also have 1 and 2 ply "solid colored" mink blankets available in four sizes: throws, twins, queens and kings. Most sizes come in 7 colors: black, blue, burgundy, camel, green, ivory and sable.
Mink Blankets are Thick And Warm!
The majority of our mink blankets are "one-ply" queen sized blankets, weighing from 6-9 pounds. Our "two-ply" blankets on the other hand weigh 11-13 pounds.
We have many more "one-ply" blankets than "two-ply" blankets because most people consider anything heavier to be uncomfortable year round. As a side note, even though acrylic blankets are very warm, they are light enough weight to be used year round.
Mink Blankets are not All Created Equal
Mink blankets are not all created the same. Although most mink blankets are made out of some sort of acrylic, that's where the similarity ends. There is a vast amount of difference between the cheapest acrylic and the most expensive acrylic.
In addition, most blanket manufacturers will have at least two different grades of blankets, a low end grade and a premium grade. For some bizarre reason, the vast majority of the U.S. companies selling mink blankets generally carry their manufacturer's lower end quality line.
Most companies sacrifice quality for price! This is the reason for the wide price range between inexpensive and expensive blankets. However, any savings in price is drastically outweighed by the difference in quality. Cheaper , less expensive blankets cannot compare in softness or quality to premium grade blankets, especially after they are washed.
We carry only the Best Quality Blankets From Around the World
We refuse to sacrifice quality for price. Even our "standard" quality line is far superior than most other blankets. Our premium grade blankets may cost more than lessor quality blankets but we would rather apologize for price one time than apologize for quality for the life of the blanket.
What makes most of our acrylic mink blankets so plush? It's the fiber! The quality of a blanket is mostly determined by the quality of its fiber. Even the blankets in our "standard" blanket line have far superior acrylic than the blankets that most other companies sell as their premium line.
The manufacturers that we buy from, whether they are in Korea, China or the Middle East all use the very best acrylic. The acrylic fiber in many of our animal and flower designs is produced by the world famous Bayer textile Company in Germany, maker of "Dralon" acrylic, internationally known to be some of the finest blanket acrylic in the world. (Bayer textile Company is actually a subsidiary of the Bayer Aspirin Pharmaceutical Company.)
Our premium grade Korean Blankets come from Korea's top three blanket manufacturers. All three use only the highest quality acrylic in their blankets.
One of our Chinese companies imports not only their acrylic, but also their machines from Japan. As with Germany, Japan is known to produce some of the world's best blanket acrylic.
Our Mink Blankets Will Stay Looking New for Many Years
The proof of superior acrylic is what a blanket looks like after it has been washed multiple times. What a blanket looks like after many, many washings is one of the main tests for determining quality. Our blankets will look like new even after years of washing, whether they come from our economy, standard or premium blanket line.
Please note: The key to washing is to treat the blanket like a fine washable: using a mild soap in cold water and on a gentle cycle. However, the most important thing is to "tumble dry" after washing, using little or no heat in the dryer. Many of our blankets will actually get softer!
As a side note, many of our mink blankets will actually become softer once they have been washed. Many blanket manufacturers apply a starch-like substance to the acrylic to facilitate the manufacturing process. Washing removes this substance, leaving a softer blanket!
We have a Dilemma!
Unfortunately,
one simply cannot
"feel and experience" the beauty
and softness of our mink blankets by simply
looking at a picture. We can only say that we have
never had anyone return one of our mink
blankets because it wasn't as nice as we said it
was.
The
few times that customers do return them is because
of size or color, and not because of quality. As a
matter of fact, the vast majority of our customers
say that they are even nicer than what we
have described!
